Oil Recycling Details: Our Used Oil Collection Center
The Washington County Landfill only collects used motor oil, hydraulic fluid, and transmission fluids from residents. It is free of charge when brought to the landfill during regularly scheduled hours.
Residential
This category applies to citizens who want to recycle their oil. If you fit into this category, you can bring up to 5 gallons of oil per visit.
Commercial
We do not accept any oil from commercial entities.
How to Deposit
All oil must be in a sealed hard plastic container and will be inspected by a WCSW employee before deposit. Either the original containers or a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. No milk or water jugs. No exceptions will be made.
